Serving as a vibrant expression of the La Dolce Vita lifestyle, the debut of the resort’s new Ciao Bella! summer seasonal programming is inflected with Italian-inspired indulgence, channeling the essence of a European summer. Highlights include Curated Pelican Picnics, celebratory Cabana packages, an artisan Summer Mercato, and Seaside Aperitivos, alongside service enhancements such as Pool Butlers at The Villa Clubhouse.
The crown jewel of the summer experience at the resort includes a bespoke new Villa & Vespa Experience, starting at $11,000. Villa guests can purchase their own custom Pelican Hill Branded Vespa Primavera 150, hand-delivered with white-glove service and a personal Vespa training session, to explore the beauty of the Newport Coast along palm-fringed pathways. Guests can opt to have their Vespa shipped home after their stay or arrange a buy-back with Vespa Los Angeles.

The Ultimate Summer Escape: The Villa & Vespa Experience
- A stylish way to explore the Resort and exclusively for Villa guests, the one-of-a-kind Villa & Vespa Experience captures the carefree elegance of an Italian summer. Guests can cruise the scenic resort grounds set against a backdrop of terracotta rooftops, olive trees, and sweeping ocean views, on their personal Vespa Primavera 150cc, pausing for espresso at the Villa Clubhouse or coasting toward a sunset swim at the Coliseum Pool. More than just a ride, the Vespa is an extension of the stay itself—stylish, spirited, and effortlessly luxurious.
Guests may purchase a custom Pelican Hill Branded Vespa Primavera 150 from Vespa LA, accompanied with two helmets, in their preferred model and color, delivered with 5-star service. At the end of their stay, guests can either keep the Vespa for a chic souvenir reminiscent of their time on the Newport coast and ship it home, or opt into a special buy-back program via Vespa LA.
