Description: A heartwarming tale of family challenge and triumph, Brightly Shining is set in Oslo and tells the story of two sisters, Ronja and Melissa, whose father is often without work. Their fortunes seem to turn when he finds a job at a Christmas tree stand only to turn again when he returns to the pub. The girls take his place to make ends meet, working before and after school, dreaming of a different future for their family.
