Fall Aerification

Once again we are very close to that time of year when Pelican Hill Golf Club performs the semi-annual tasks necessary to keep the golf courses in the pristine condition our guests demand! In the months of October & November, we will be conducting the DryJect process on all of our greens.

‌With mid October only a few weeks away, we will be conducting the DryJect process on all of our greens. We are thrilled with the results and our greens continue to get stronger and healthier by the year.

While traditional aerification removes cores from the greens which leads to soft conditions and very long recovery times, DryJect uses a high-speed, water-based injection system to blast aeration holes through the root zone to fracture the soil. The vacuum technology simultaneously fills holes to the surface with high volumes of sand relieving compaction, increasing water infiltration, and amending our soil. The sand is a very important component for us to manage our thatch/organic percentage along with improving the firmness of our greens.

Thank you for your support of our agronomic practices and programs.
